Delivery was a pain, especially as a teacher and for someone who does not work from home. I paid $200 for room-of-choice delivery, and picked a day/time. Fedex called me at the last minute on the delivery morning to say that there would be a delay and they would have to reschedule. On the rescheduled morning, I took the initiative and called Fedex Freight myself as I could see that my treadmill was still in Pennsylvania. We reschedule, again, for Wednesday, and I was assured that it would be ready with plenty of time. Wednesday morning, I get a voicemail that the item still had not arrived at the local hub (not exactly a small town in the middle of nowhere)
So I’ve already taken several mornings off of work, which is really hard to do as a teacher. And they do not deliver on Weekends.
3rd scheduled delivery day came, and the driver called to ask if someone could help get it into the house. Um, that’s why I was paying $200. So they had to call around to find another driver in the area to help, and that got pushed outside my delivery window. Again, this was on the THIRD scheduled day.
I am very satisfied.
I ordered the treadmill on Thursday 9/15/2022. It arrived with excellent basic service (box was brought inside my front door) on Tuesday 9/20. Excellent shipping speed for this sized item from Utah to New Jersey. It assembled very easily and I began using it that evening.
The TR1200i is easy to use. The design of the machine puts the control buttons and display in perfect position. Everything about the performance of the treadmill has been as advertised.
The handlebars are in an ideal location providing excellent safety, comfort and convenience. In fact, the safety factor has yielded an unexpected and significant benefit of using the treadmill. I purchased the TR1200i for my wife and myself to be used for walking. I am 74 years old and for several months I have ceased running outdoors because of concerns about my stability and to avoid falls. The location of the handlebars has made it safe for me to use the treadmill for running. As a result I have been able to significantly increase the intensity of my workouts. My fitness has likewise been significantly improved.
In part, because of my results of using the treadmill, I have begun a blog documenting my journey of fitness and health (including an extraordinary diet). I was looking for something sturdy, easy to use for accumulating walking steps, and didn’t use a lot of electricity. This fits the bill! Only bummer is that my order didn’t come with any lubricant like the order summary said it would.
